Job Description:
Our client is seeking a commercially-minded and intuitive Sales Manager with at least 3-6 years experience in exhibition, sponsorship and conference sales and at least 2-3 years’ experience in the energy sector to step into a brand new role within a successful and growing team.
You will be operating within a business that produces some of the energy industry’s largest and most respected events. You will be passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable about selling smart, profitable, and industry-leading exhibitions and conferences, have a proven and comprehensive experience of applying efficient and effective processes to leading others to sell on a successful conference portfolio.
Our client currently produces two significant and highly-regarded gas industry conferences.
You will be responsible for the execution and management of the sales team and the implementation and development of current sales plans. The ideal candidate will act as a leader with core responsibility for your team delivering commercial income to the business through sales. You are an ambitious yet sociable individual who wants to grow in a key leadership role alongside an energetic, entrepreneurial, and vibrant team within a major international publishing PLC.
The Sales Manger role will report to the Exhibition Director and be responsible for managing stand, sponsorship and delegate sales. Our client has an aggressive expansion plan and the Exhibition director requires an experienced, knowledgeable and diligent Sales Manager to reach commercial target.
